About
The Urgent Rehoming platform is for rare breed breeders who face a change in personal, financial, or environmental circumstances that results in them being unable to keep their herd/flock. The species and breeds need to be on the Trust's Watchlist.
The Urgent Rehoming platform is not for unwanted roosters, progeny not meeting standards or production requirements, or surplus to needs.
All requests for listing need to be approved by the Rare Breeds Trust of Australia Please email rbtabreederdirectories@gmail.oom with details of the breed, numbers of animals including breeding animals, reasons for rehoming need.

Terms and Conditions
- Eligibility for rehoming listings is current membership of the Rare Breeds Trust of Australia. However, in exceptional circumstances with regard to critically endangered breeds that could be lost if not rehomed, the RBTA Board may choose to list such herds/flocks regardless of membership.
- The person listing the flock or herd (the Lister) is fully responsible for the accuracy of the information provided.
- Interested persons should contact the Lister to request the PIC (where relevant), assure themselves of the quality and breed association registration (where applicable) of the listed animals.
- The price set for the animals is a matter for the Lister.
- The RBTA is not responsible for any costs or losses or misrepresentations associated with the listing. The RBTA role is to provide a platform only for the listings.
- The rehoming listing platform is not for unwanted roosters, progeny not meeting standards or production requirements, or similar reasons.
- It may take a week or so for the RBTA Board to consider the request.
