Thank you for being part of conserving rare livestock breeds

Thank you for engaging with this risk management action of the Rare Breeds Trust of Australia. The aim is to increase the number of breeders holding rare breeds as well as increase the sustainability of existing herds and flocks.

This listing request form is for Trust members wishing to be listed on the Livestock Breeders Directory for Cattle, Goats, Horses and Donkeys, Pigs and Sheep. There is a separate request form for Poultry. Breeds need to be on the Trust's Watchlist. 

Terms and Conditions

The Rare Breeds Trust of Australia provides the Rare Breed Livestock Breeders Directory as a platform for breeders/members to list their breeds. You need to be a current financial member of the Rare Breeds Trust of Australia to be listed on the Directory. Where your RBTA membership lapses, the relevant listings will be removed from the register.  

You will be asked to provide the species, the breed, your name, PIC, your state, your preferred email address, and breed details. By doing so you agree that the Rare Breeds Trust of Australia has permission to publish the provided details.  Please note however that for property security purposes, the PIC will not be published. 

The Rare Breeds Trust of Australia is not responsible for any losses or misrepresentations associated with the Directory.  All and any costs are to be negotiated between the breeder and interested buyer. Discretion and security is always required when responding to potential buyers.

Please enter only one breed at a time. You will be able to submit as many additional listings as needed. You may enter pure breeds other than breeds on the Watchlist, providing that at least one of the submitted  breeds is on the Watchlist.   The form may take a few more seconds to load.
